The ZL1 is the new top-of-the-line Camaro, and it's based around the LSA V8 Engine, a 580 horsepower and 556 lb-ft version of the supercharged 6.2 liter V8 came from the Corvette ZR1. The ZL1 goes 0-60 in 3.9 seconds with a six-speed automatic transmission and 4.0 with the six-speed stick-shift. Top speed of 184 MPH.

NASCAR news

Kevin Harvick won last weeks NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Phoenix International Raceway. This was Harvick's 4th win of the season. 6th win at PIR. This win helped him clinch a spot in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship Race today in Homestead, Florida. Jeff Gordon finished 2nd, followed by Matt Kenseth, Brad Keselowski rounding out the top 5 was Denny Hamlin.

A big part of the race on the final lap is when Ryan Newman bashed into Kyle Larson to take the 11th spot which put Newman in the Race for the Championship by beating Jeff Gordon by 1 point. 

The four drivers racing for The NASCAR Championship today are Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, Joey Lagano and Ryan Newman

This will be the final race of the season and the first year of the NEW style of the  NASCAR Playoff system called "THE CHASE for the CUP"

Las Vegas Nurburgring

Speedway Motorsports who owns The Las Vegas Motor Speedway and six other race tracks in the U.S. wants to build an exact replica of the famous German race track Nurburgring in Las Vegas, Nevada.

CEO Burton Smith has been in talks with Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval and the Bureau of Land Management. If the BLM donates the land for the project, the track will be located a few miles from The Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Four months of the year the track in Germany is covered in snow. Automotive companys would be real happy to have one open all year round to test new and future production cars and who doesn't want to hang out in Las Vegas.

Man ran over by his own Truck

A Man in Colorado suffered life threatening injuries when his van ran him over. The man had to jump out of the van quick to avoid being burnt by a cigarette he had just lit, dropped on his jacket. The van kept rolling backwards (which is normal when you leave it in Reverse) he was knocked to the ground by the driver door and the left front tire rolled over his head. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
