The ALL NEW 2018 Kia STINGER goes on sale in December comes in Rear Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive. Two engines to choose from a 2.0 turbocharged four-cylinder with 255hp or a Twin Turbo V6 pumping out 365hp. The Stinger has an 8-speed automatic transmission, Brembo brakes and comes with Michelin tires. Designed by Peter Schreyer who worked for AUDI and Albert Biermann who work for the BMW M Divison.

KIA Soul'ster

The Kia Soul'ster concept is based on the new Kia Soul, but with
only two doors and a two-piece canvas roof. There are no frills in this concept
either, which means no power windows and a manual gearbox. Kia describes the
concept as a “fun, affordable convertible for active people who like to share
good times with friends.” The concept is powered by either a 120 horsepower 1.6L
or a 140 horsepower 2.0L engine. Fuel economy for both engines is estimated at
30 mpg. The Kia Soul will be in dealerships this spring, it's not known if Kia
is actually going to produce the Soul'ster. It could be just what Kia needs to
make the brand more appealing to 20-somethings.

technology new to the Kia line-up, (where the engine turns off when the vehicle
is not in motion. The engine restarts automatically when the driver releases the
brake pedal, resulting in lower levels of fuel consumption in stop-start urban

is powered by a 1.6L GDI four-cylinder engine with the option of either a
six-speed manual transmission or six-speed automatic. One of only two vehicles
in this segment to offer a GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) engine, the 2012 Rio
offers consumers that elusive combination of power and impressive fuel
efficiency, achieving class-leading 135HP power and class-leading fuel economy
rating of 30/40 mpg city/highway.
Impressive technology features also come standard throughout,
including an AM/FM/CD/MP3/Sat audio system with SIRIUS® Satellite Radio
capabilities and three months complimentary service and auxiliary and USB audio
input jacks for connecting with MP3 players. The range-topping SX trim offers
consumers UVO powered by Microsoft® in-car hands-free communication and
entertainment system, complete with rear camera display.
The 2012 Rio is equipped with a high level of standard safety
features, including six airbags, three-point seatbelts for all seating
positions, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a four-wheel Anti-lock Brake
System (ABS), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) and Vehicle Stability Management
(VSM), which coordinates the car’s ESC and ABS to help the driver stay in
control of the vehicle at all times.

KIA Motor Corp's goal

Kia Motors Corp., South Korea's second-largest automaker, has set its sights on becoming Europe's 10th-largest mainstream brand by 2013. To get there, the company will have to pass its parent, Hyundai, as well as Volkswagen's Skoda brand and Renault's Dacia. That means driving sales to about 450,000 units from 262,627 last year, an approximate 71 percent rise in volume over the next two years. Hyundai sold 358,284 units in Europe in 2010, up 4.7 percent, according to the European automakers' association, ACEA.Kia ranked 16th in overall European sales last year with a market share of 1.9 percent, and 13th among mainstream brands, a category that excludes BMW brand, Daimler's Mercedes and VW AG's Audi units.

KIA KV7 concept

For the past several years Kia Motors' design-led transformation has been delivering production vehicles – such as the Soul, Forte Koup and Sportage – that bear a very close resemblance to the original concept designs that preceded them. At the 2011 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Kia will make another dramatic design statement with the world debut of an all-new, convention-challenging concept vehicle named "KV7."

KIA Mojave concept

The 2004 concept KIA Mojave was designed at the Kia/Hyundai Research & Design Center in NamYang, South Korea, under the direction of Lee Jae-Rim, Designer and Senior Research Engineer on the Advanced Design Team at Nam Yang. “The idea behind the Mojave project was to take advantage of Kia’s research and development resources and create a concept vehicle that is closely aligned with Kia’s positioning in North America,” said Peter M. Butterfield, president and CEO of Kia Motors America. “Despite the fact that we do not currently have a factory with the capacity, or the location, to manufacture this truck, the Mojave is an outstanding example of what Kia is capable of delivering, and will allow us to conduct consumer research at the Chicago International Auto Show to gauge consumers’ reactions.” “Our design objectives for the Mojave were unique in that we attempted to combine a forward-thinking cabin with an advanced, open and modern feel that would appeal to Generation Y consumers,” said Mr. Lee. “Alternately, the exterior design combines a more traditional exterior truck profile made up of simple, basic forms that clearly communicate the rugged capability of the vehicle.” Named “Mojave” for two reasons. Not only does the name represent the ruggedness and beauty of the spectacular American Southwest.A key design feature is the Mojave’s ability to stretch its rear bed into the passenger cabin at the touch of a button. After manually raising the rear glass and folding down the rear seats, the power-operated rear wall quickly slides forward to extend the bed from 71 inches to 86 inches in length -- enough room to fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood -- making even a larger-than-normal load from Home Depot easy to deliver. The extended bed position also provides built-in protection from forward-sliding cargo due to the design of the folded rear seat back. A 3.8-liter, DOHC 24-valve V6 putting out an estimated 280 horsepower, coupled with a 5-speed electronically-controlled automatic transmission
