This 2013 Ford Super Cobra Jet Mustang is a factory produced Drag Car. It packs a serious punch starting with a 5.0L DOHC CNC ported heads and Manifold, Cobra Jet Air Induction System, Bigger Cams and Whipple Supercharger to give the engine some High Volume Mouth to Mouth. This car is not street legal, has a full roll cage and only comes with Drag Racing Slicks. Only 50 are made a year. $86,000 and UP.

2008 Dan Gurney Saleen Mustang

2008 Ford Mustang Saleen Dan Gurney edition sold at Barrett Jackson Las Vegas for $180,000, which went to the Austin Hatcher Foundation, an organization that fights pediatric cancer. Only 100 of this Signature Edition 2008 Saleen Musatng were made. It came in Red, White or Blue. Dan Gurney was a Race Car driver that drove for Carol Shelby. This Mustang has Saleen Supercharged 4.6L pushing out 465hp / 425 ft/lbs of torque runs 0 - 60 mph in 4.3 seconds, 0 -100 mph in 10.5 seconds.

2007 Custom Mustang GT

This 2007 Custom Mustang GT was built for the SEMA show for Clarion by Rick Dore Kustoms at a cost of $125,000. Starting with a super custom paint job, finished in PPG Orange Tangerine Pearl and Midnight Black, accented with 1/2 gold leaf and bordered with red pin striping. The roof was chopped 1 3/4 inches. The engine had a  Vortech V-2 SQ S-Trim polished supercharger with air/water charge cooler installed pushing more than 450hp. The car was sold at Barrett Jackson Las Vegas collector Car Auction.

CAMARO vs MUSTANG vs CHALLENGER - 2014 Sales

Chevy Camaro out sold the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger in June making it the third straight month. The fifth-generation Camaro has consistently come out on top as the sales king throughout its model lifecycle and looking for the fifth year sales victory since it came back. 

Chevy sold 7,721 for the month of June. The Camaro beat the Mustang by 90 units posting sales of 7,631 units. The Dodge Challenger sold 4,377 cars.

Did Ford make a Mustang Wagon?

In 1965, the custom auto design company Intermeccanica built a prototype Mustang station wagon station for an ad agency. The prototype was shown to the Ford Motor Company, but Ford never produced any of the station wagons. Many car enthusiasts have built their own custom Mustang station wagons.
