Speedway Motorsports who owns The Las Vegas Motor Speedway and six other race tracks in the U.S. wants to build an exact replica of the famous German race track Nurburgring in Las Vegas, Nevada.
CEO Burton Smith has been in talks with Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval and the Bureau of Land Management. If the BLM donates the land for the project, the track will be located a few miles from The Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Four months of the year the track in Germany is covered in snow. Automotive companys would be real happy to have one open all year round to test new and future production cars and who doesn't want to hang out in Las Vegas.
