The new French Police car The Renault Megane RS police car will
come in the blue and yellow color scheme as other French police vehicle. The
Gendarmerie have even opted for the “Chassis Cup” version, which is the model
with the best handling at high speeds. The Megane RS
is powered by a new-generation 2-liter 16-valve turbocharged gas engine which
boasts maximum power of 250hp. Top speed 155 mph. leaving the drivers with lead
feet little opportunity to get away. Renault chose Durisotti, an approved
Renault coach-builder, to fully transform their new fleet into true police
vehicles with the special equipment necessary to catch speedsters.
